Accessible Studies
Students with impairments, disabilities, and/or chronic illnesses may contact the Team Barrierefrei at any time for advice and support.
Team Barrierefrei provides assistance in particular with applying for alternative examination methods.
Alternative examination methods are an instrument under study law for students who can provide evidence of a study-relevant functional impairment. If, due to an impairment, taking examinations in the prescribed format does not allow for equal opportunities, individually adapted examination methods may be arranged.
Important note:
Approval of an application for alternative examination methods does not mean that the course instructor(s) are automatically informed. It is your responsibility to inform the relevant teaching staff at an early stage. The following deadlines apply at the latest:
- Non–continous assessment courses:
Ideally 3 weeks before the examination date, but no later than 2 weeks in advance - Continuous assessment courses:
As early as possible, but no later than the first class session - Field trips / excursions:
As early as possible, but no later than at the time of registration
