The purpose of this workshop is to discuss issues of interculturality in translating literary texts, ranging from historical texts to contemporary literature in different cultures, with a focus on South Asia and Europe. Several case studies provide interesting insights into concrete personal experiences of cultural translation and provide an empirical basis for discussing theoretical and methodological aspects of literary translations
