In the first chapter of his sDom gsum kha skong, the Sa skya pa scholar Go ram pa bsod nams seng ge (1429-1489) discusses and refutes various views on Buddha nature. The talk takes as its focus Go ram pa’s refutation of Dol po pa’s (1292-1361) view of Buddha nature as presented in his Ri chos nges don rgya mtsho (“Mountain Teaching: the Ocean of Definitive Meaning”) and Go ram pa’s establishment of his own view on the topic.
