Nepal is rich in folksong. Although it is a small country there are varieties of melodies and dialects used in Nepali folksong. It represents the feeling of general Nepali people because folksongs are sung in villages.
These are the songs of women working in fields, cutting grass for cattle, or songs of men digging fields.
